Maine State

When we set out to create a map of Maine we really only knew one thing for certain, it had to inspire. We wanted to have something that would be transporting and call you to explore. It would be an adventure map.

Maine is such an awe-inspiring land of wonder, and so iconically Maine. How does one distill all of that into an 18" by 24" piece of wood? We started with coastlines and interior bodies of water. Then, we brought in contour lines for the topography of the land. These provide the texture that gives depth to the mountains and valleys. The result is our most detailed state map to date, and really gives a complete feel for Maine's landscape and waterways.
